Tom Waits lyrics are always appropriate for titling drawings!

This one is for :iconbleedingheartworks:. She asked for a picture of her OC Bianca and DC's The Question. Hope you like it!

Thank you! It was a fun draw. I got to experiment with a few things ( like the newspaper and the rain ) so that was amusing :D

Rain always seems to get me. Lovely piece though. I thoroughly enjoy whatever you do. I got hooked to your Joker/Harley stuff originally. Which i'm sure most people do. But I must say I love your recent x-men yummys. Brilliant! <3

Thanks so much! The X-Men stuff is fun to draw. I have a soft-spot for Gambit and Rogue.

Yeah, how do all those super villainesses run in high heels?..It makes sense that Harley never did..not that it helps her not get caught eventually..

It makes zero sense. I can barely walk in super high heels, never mind fight. Maybe that's part of their super power? Heh. I always appreciated that characters like Harley and Batwoman wore sensible shoes. Of course, 'new' Harley's outfit is anything but sensible. Sigh. I miss the good ol' days.

I think the old female villains were not expected to fight physically (they had henchmen) but it stuck with the anything goes modern era..

Then again how does that explain the Golden age Wonder Woman?

On a separate issue , drawing feet is HARD!!!

Drawing feet is miserable. Seriously. It's terrible. I've never had trouble with hands ( I think because I didn't avoid drawing them ) but feet were easier to skip because I'd run out of paper. Sometimes they still look wonky to me.

Yeah..most of the time I draw them too big (for women) or they look chimpanzee like..mind you I am barely an artist..

Ha! Aw. When I was learning to draw I was *really* attracted to the super stylized comic art. I loved Jeff Matsuda and Chris Bachalo. They both draw enormous hands and feet. So, for a while, I was doing the same thing. I look back on my art when I was, say, 15 years old and just giggle because these characters look totally deformed. I loved that style but I didn't understand how to execute it properly. Oh well! It's a learning process always.
